Started running XC/track as a junior in HS secondary to volleyball/softball.
State XC placed 8th as JR and 4th as SR. State track 4th in 3200 and 6th in 1600
Colby CC earned first team All-American both years and team won National Championship
OSU earned multiple All-American honors in XC and track, All Big 12 & Academic All-American. 4th place finish in 10K at NCAA Nationals and top 20 in XC Nationals
2002- Joined Team USA MN and signed shoe contract with Asics.
Member of 2 Ekiden relay teams in Japan.
Qualified and ran in World Cross Country Championship in Switzerland (3rd place team finish and World 1/2 marathon Team in Portugal.
2003- Won Women's National Marathon Championship
2004- 7th place finish in Olympic Marathon Trials with time of 2:33
2004- Inducted into NJCAA Coaches Association HOF
2021- Inducted in Colby Community College HOF
Lives in Salina with husband Nate Lee. 3 girls (Addie, Emmy & Laney) all attend SH/St. Mary's.and works as a physical therapist.
